BECKHAM INDUCTED INTO PSG HALL OF FAME

Former Manchester United and Real Madrid star David Beckham has been inducted into the Hall of Fame of French side Paris St-Germain.


The former England international played just 14 matches before retiring from the game yet the Ligue 1 giant was named in its new roll of honours for service to the club.

This comes as a surprise to many as only iconic figures for PSG were names alongside Beckham. The club record scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ronaldinho, Bernard Lama and George Weah. Many would easily remember the amazing things the rest of the figures did at Parc des Princes. Continue reading

MADRID AGAINST PLAYER-CASH DEAL FOR DE GEA

Real Madrid are against a player-cash deal in the talks with Manchester United for goalkeeper David De Gea.


United are interested in either of Alvaro Morata or James Rodriguez – both players are struggling in the Real set-up under Coach Zinedine Zidane.

As De Gea gets set for the deal to happen this time, Spanish sources claim Real Madrid do not want a player-cash deal this time, amid reported interests in its stars. Real Madrid and United came close to completing the deal for the Spaniard in 2015 but the deal slipped on deadline day due to clerical error. So De Gea had to renew his deal by four years. He is contracted to Old Trafford until 2019 with the option of extending by a year.

Even then it was a player-cash deal but Madrid have backed out of such this time. They have told their partners that there is no chance of such happening except United bid separately for the players. Continue reading

Three Lions football legend David Beckham – who is just recovering from a web of scandals – is set to join past and current English players to raise cancer awareness, according to Sky Sports.


The ex-Real Madrid star would join top stars like John Terry, Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, David James et al in celebrations of the 10th anniversary of England Footballers Foundation. The football stars would do this in support of the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK.

Bobby Moore is one of the most popular names in English football. He was the skipper of the English side that lifted their only World Cup yet. He is known to be one of the best players in the English shirt. He died at the age of 51 after battling cancer of the Liver and Bowel.

The former England captain, David Beckham is said to earn a whopping £71,000 per day in the year 2016 to boost his £280 million net worth. His earning makes him one of the richest celebrities in the UK.


In just seven months, the former Manchester United player’s new company, Seven Global LLP is said to make a hefty sum of £8.6 million in profit. Apart from this brand, Beckham footwork Productions Company has been able to record another £11.4 million profit for the use of Beckham’s image and name.

His income also comes in from his DB ventures and Lifestyle Company, with a sum of £3.8million reportedly paid into the company for his collaboration with some popular brands.

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his desire to play beyond the age of 40 – an age that is extremely rare in professional football. The former Manchester United forward recently renewed his deal with Real Madrid for another five years, and then he dropped a shocker that the contract would not be his last before he retires from active football.

“I’m at the best club in the world and I want to retire here. At 41,” he said. The three-time Ballon d’Or winner wants to break yet another record of playing beyond 40 years old. Antoine Griezmann Claims that David Beckham is His Idol

Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann may have recently signed a contract to confirm his stay at the Vicente Calderon, but he will continue to be linked with English clubs.

Back when David Beckham was a player in the MLS, he helped increase the level of play of the American League and also the image of the sport in USA.
