The former English captain and also one of the biggest sports icons in football is going to host a special skills training clinic in Sydney next month for 10 budding Socceroos and Matildas. Beckham is the father of four and he has taken the retirement from football. He took the retirement in the year 2013 after spending 21-year career playing football. He will strap on the boots after he participated in Invictus Games, founded by his good friend Prince Harry. When asked about his class, Beckham said “I really look forward to being back in Australia” as part of his global embassy assignment for the insurance company AIA.

The 43-year-old signed with AIA last year to help promote his healthier lifestyle campaign. “The work they do to support a healthier, longer life better is so important and I’m proud of being part of it,” Beckham said in a statement. AIA Australia CEO Damien Mu said the midfield was great “a great ambassador” because “he lives and breathes the football and he is really passionate about it. Additionally, he is also passionate about helping others do the same.”
