MANCHESTER UNITED LEGEND PRAISES FORMER TEAMMATES

David Beckham is regarded as one of the greatest crossers of the ball in history. The former England captain had a successful career winning titles in England and Spain and played with a host of top quality managers.

Two of which currently manage England and Manchester United in Gareth Southgate and Ole Gunnar Solksjaer. Solksjaer has been impressive at Old Trafford leading United to a run of 10 victories in 13 matches in the Premier League which has seen the club move into the race for the Champions League places.

Manchester United are also in the quarterfinals of the Champions League after overturning a 2-0 deficit against PSG with an injury-depleted squad. his performances led to the club giving him the job on a permanent basis last week as he looks to lead United to a title charge next season.

David Beckham is impressed with what his former teammate has been able to achieve at the club within the short period of time. speaking to Sky Sports at the Bahrain Grand Prix Beckham revealed that Solksjaer is adored by the fans and that it was great for the club to have him at the helm of affairs.

Beckham played with the Norwegian tactician for seven years and provided the cross in the 1999 Champions League final which Solksjaer converted for a famous victory. Beckham also spoke about Southgate who he played with during his time in the England national team.

He is impressed with the way the former Middlesbrough coach has been able to integrate youth players into the first team. According to the former England captain, the performances of the national team has been exciting to witness.

Beckham is currently in the final stages of launching his MLS outfit Inter Miami which is expected to join the league in 2020.
