The former footballer, 47, has been named the new face and partner of Qatar Tourism’s stopover campaign, showcasing the best of Qatar for visitors. Ahead of the World Cup being hosted in Qatar, David was seen soaking up the culture as he explored the Souq Waqif and travelled around the streets on a motorbike in a new video revealing what tourists shouldn’t miss while there.
Adventuring around the country in 48 hours, David explored the spice markets, camped in the desert and motorbiked around Doha among his activities. David said Qatar has surprised him with a wide range of great experiences you can have in just 48 hours. The people are warm and welcoming, and it is a great place to spend a few days.
